Meditation Level

Meditation is a move towards training the mind which is quite similar to the way that a person uses the fitness and body-building approach to train the body. Meditating, by all means, is quite difficult for a beginner who is just starting with meditation for it requires an awful lot of focusing and concentration which is just not everybody’s piece of cake.

There are basically five levels of meditation:

  • Gross (Savitarka)
  • Subtle (Savichara)
  • Bliss (Sananda)
  • I-ness (Sasmita)
  • Objectless (Asamprajnata)
